SANTA CLARA, Calif. (October 27, 2014) – Green Charge Networks is pleased to announce its new Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering – Harjinder Bhade. For over 25 years, Mr. Bhade has built engineering teams and brought cloud based and networked products to the market. As the new CTO and VP of Engineering at Green Charge Networks, he will lead the company’s efforts to scale the GreenStationTM energy storage products and make it more accessible to power-users of all types.
Previously Mr. Bhade was the co-founder of ChargePoint, the electric vehicle charging infrastructure company, where he was also the Vice President of Software Engineering. In his seven years at ChargePoint, Mr. Bhade built the software engineering team and created the world’s largest network of electric vehicle charging stations. Prior to ChargePoint, he was a founder and head of software engineering at Pipal Systems, which was acquired by Riverstone Networks (now Alcatel-Lucent). At Lucent Technologies, Mr. Bhade was senior director of engineering. He earned a B.S. in computer science from Chico State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
