Craft Brewer Uncaps Refreshing Savings While Keeping Up with Demand

In 2012, Mike Hess Brewing opened their 12,500 sq. ft. North Park brewery with 30 bbl. of production capacity. The facility features a family and pet friendly tasting room where patrons can pick from 26 different beers. Throughout daily operations, pumps, chillers, air compressors and an elevator all create a lot of power demand. To combat climbing San Diego demand charges, without compromising brewing operations, intelligent energy storage was installed.
